We were formed from a group of players who were previously with the Wolverhampton Community Concert Band which used to rehearse at Highfields School in Wolverhampton under the baton of David Gray.

That band ceased to exist following the withdrawal of funding by the Adult Education Service in September 1992.

We then moved our rehearsal venue to Darlington Street Methodist Church hall and we later acquired a new musical director, Derek Craft.

We stayed at Darlington Street until November 1999 when we re-located to The Newhampton Centre in Wolverhampton

We now practice on Thursday nights at 1930 at the YWCA, Claverley Drive, Warstones.  We welcomed a new conductor in January 05, Charles Brown. Charles stayed with us for a year and did a wonderful job but sadly had to leave us due to other commitments.

Since early 2006 we have had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Stuart Mallen to conduct the band who has continued Charles good work and is equally doing a great job!.
